A lean athletic frame at 5-foot-6,150 pounds. Ran a 7.04 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- Stands in the box in an athletic position. Feet shoulder width apart. Has a simple load. Takes a short stride towards the pitcher. Displayed a short compact swing. Gets full use of the lower half. Gets full extension after the point of contact. Finishes with a one hand follow through. Top exit velocity was 82 MPH. Defensively- showed an aggressive approach to the baseball. Showed smooth funnel actions. Uses a glove tap for timing to gather himself on making throws across the diamond. Moves well side to side. Throws from a mid ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity was 81 MPH.
5-foot-6, 150-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Showcased a solid feel for the barrel with a direct swing path and a line drive approach. Registered a 76 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 6.86 60-yard dash. Flashed 82 mph arm strength across the diamond with a capable glove hand. With his foot speed and arm strength Ramolgan could easily fill a need at several defensive positions at the next level.
