Displayed good FB command at the 2020 NY games. Worked with a two pitch mix. Knapp has upside; added strength should increase has he continues to develop.
A wiry 6-foot-4, 140 pounds projectable frame. Pitching- Displayed a live projectable arm. Has a repeatable delivery. Works mainly from the left side of the rubber. Showed smooth hand separation. Drives downhill from a balanced back side. Throws from a mid ¾ arm slot. Showed plus FB command peaked at 79 MPH. Showed a breaking ball with tight spin at 63-65 MPH. Showed feel for a CH at 71-73 MPH. Mixed in a Cut at 71-73 MPH with tight spin. The 2020 RHP has some upside as he continues to develop, he is a must follow.
A lean 6-foot-4, 140 pounds projectable frame. Pitching- The right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery. Uses a high knee lift into a strong balanced point and smooth hand separation. Works down hill on plane. Plus command of the FB 75 MPH, and a CB with a tight spin at 64-65 MPH. Feel for a CH around the zone 70-71 MPH. The 2020 graduate has a lot more in the tank. The projectable size and good actions should get interest from college coaches.
