Hit: RHH. Slightly open; feet shoulder width apart; low stride; hands get deep in his load, level with shoulders Gets his hands through the zone; pull side tendencies; high two-handed finish.
Power: 71 MPH raw exit velocity. Shows potential pop to middle of the field; consistent contact.
Defense: Lets the ball get a little deep, would like to see it fielded out front more; good active feet laterally; firm backhand; glove pat for timing.
Arm: Short arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot . INF - 68 MPH.
Pitching Delivery: Steady pace with a balanced, repeatable delivery.
Arm Action: Long, fluid arm swing to a 3/4 release.
FB: T71, 69-71 MPH. Locates with arm side tail.
CB: 57-59 MPH. 11-5 shape with early break.
Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a slightly open stance and bend in the knees. Short simple load actions. Works slightly up hill. Displayed hard contact to the middle part of the field. Defensively- the infielder worked out at third. The infield displayed active footwork during the defensive portion of the showcase. Moves well laterally. Gets in a low wide position when fielding the baseball. Throws from a mid 3/4 arm slot on throws across the infield. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery during his bullpen session at the showcase. The RHP showed feel for a three pitch mix around the zone. The velocity should increase as he continues to develop.
