An athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds. Ran a 7.28 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively-Stands in the box in a tall stance. Short load short stride towards the pitcher. Shows loose hands, quick path to the hitting zone. Showed consistent hard contact to the middle of the field. Gets full extension and finishes in an upright stance. Top exit velocity 88 MPH. Defensively- as an outfielder, shows smooth funnel action. A quick exchange and quick release from the outfield. Uses his footwork to get behind the ball and gain momentum. Top throwing velocity 79 MPH.
ENY ASG (September 15, 2018)
Projectable frame at 6-foot-1, 165-pounds. Ran a 7.28 60 Yard Dash. Offensively - Relaxed and balanced set-up in the box. Subtle and controlled forward stride to get into athletic hitting position. Continues to show loose, quick wrists to the baseball with smooth finish. Lift in swing should lead to more power in the future. Good feel for finding barrel. Exit Velocity was 84 MPH. Defensively - Catch and throw actions profile well to the OF. Light on his feet while moving to the baseball. Uses a side shuffle to create momentum on throws. Clean, whippy arm action from high 3/4 release. Arm strength was 79 MPH.
Campus Series - Marist (July 17, 2018)
6-foot-1, 165-pounds. Lean frame with an athletic build. Offensively - Upright stance with feet set just outside of shoulder width. Balanced forward stride. Stays within legs. Loose, quick wrists. Swing path shows lift to pull-side. High, one-handed finish. Exit velocity was 78 MPH. Defensively - Long, loose arm action from the OF. Side shuffle to get into throwing motion. Catches ball at highest point and exchanges out of glove quickly. Feet stay active when closing on the ball. Arm strength was 73 MPH. Pitching - Stays tall into balanced leg lift and then gets some bend in back leg as he pushes off towards target. Glove side stays closed into landing. High ¾ release point with fluid, projectable arm action. Aggressive finish to all offerings. FB sat 70-71 MPH and topped at 72. CB was 60-61 MPH with 2/7 break. CH came in at 61-62 MPH.
