Physical: Long, projectable 6-foot-2, 155-pound frame with lean strength present in the actions. 7.65 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - The righty started from an upright, slightly open stance with minor bend in the knees; utilized a short lift and replace stride to get in line while initiating the barrel through a fluid, flat path at launch. Recorded an impressive 64% line drive rate during batting practice, pounding the ball hard through the left side of the field, increased feel for the hit tool with increased rhythm present in a short swing at the dish. Notched a standout 92 mph bat-exit velocity with obvious barrel awareness present in the box; a 90% on-plane efficiency according to Blast Motion was one of the higher postings in that measurable category all year.
Defensively: The shortstop featured moderate posture with sneaky lateral quickness in the middle infield; confidence in the glove hand especially moving to his left side, fielded off the middle of the body primarily, could go get the backhand too deep in the hole with no problems finishing it off on the release from a high ¾ slot (79 mph arm).
