Oropeza is stands at a solid 5-foot-10, 200-pounds from the 1B/3B position. Offensively – Oropeza begins with a slightly open stance, knee bend, and high hands prior to the pitch. He uses a toe tap foot stride to transfer his weight back and time each pitch. Oropeza uses a straight back load with a slight bat wiggle and loose hands. He keeps his bat level with some upward tilt through the zone, makes solid contact, and finishes high after contact. Oropeza has an exit velocity off a tee of 82 MPH. Defensively – Oropeza shows solid technique at the corner position. He has good balance with his feet, stays centered over the ball and hands stay out in front as he receives. He has smooth hands and quick transfer with a strong-arm velocity of 78 MPH. Oropeza has a fluid arm motion and is accurate to his intended target.

5-foot-11 with a strong arm across the infield, sure glove, makes a smooth and quick transfer from glove to throwing hand, good instincts when ball leaves bat. Sturdy build (180-pounds), he takes away hard hit balls in the hole and still capable of fielding bunts and making plays across the diamond. Smooth at the plate, keeps his bat level through the strike zone, developing plate coverage.

Offensively- He uses a slightly open stance, active loose hands (bat-waggle) knee lift on the pitch for timing, strides back to even. Barrel stays mostly level through contact, full extension with above average bat-whip. Exit velocity was 88 MPH off a tee, during BP he used all fields with gap-to-gap power, more pronounced to his pull-side. Defensively- Showed active footwork, keeps the ball centered and out-in-front, very quick transfer to an easy and accurate 78 MPH arm from a 3/4 slot. overall fielding actions are smooth and trained.
