10/18 - Decker stands 5-foot-11, 185 pounds with an athletic strong build. From the infield he uses athletic baseball actions to get to the ball. Plays the ball out in front, smooth transfer, quick release, throws from a mid-3/4 slot with 82 mph arm strength. Plus infield skill-set. At the plate he uses a relaxed setup, high hands. He uses a knee lift and stride on the pitch. Short path to the ball, fairly level bat plane through contact, shoulder height finish. 89 mph exit velocity off a tee, he ran a 4.43 pro agility time and 4.48 home to first. Next level prospect.
Decker stands 5-foot-11, 185-pounds with a solidly build frame. At third base he shows plus lateral movement, evidence from his 6.96 60 time. Stays behind ball glove out in front, quick transfer, short arm action, mid 3/4 slot with 80 mph arm strength. At the plate his setup is tall and relaxed.
