Physical: 6-foot-1, 185 pounds; Long, muscular build. 7.78 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Drops hands on the way back with an exaggerated leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a late one hand finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while sits back. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 70 MPH.
Pitching: Krauss uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has aShort stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while stabbing downward, while working through a high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 76 MPH, while sitting 74-76 MPH; commands both sides. SL: 63-65 MPH; slurve like.

Offensively: RHH. Open stance with bend in the knees and front knee turned in while hands start out in front of the shoulder with the barrel resting on it; Knee knock leg kick with a toe tap at time before gaining ground while the hands push straight back. Strong effort from the back leg turning into a stiff front side with Barrel is direct with a flat path through the zone to a 2 hand finish. Solid contact through the middle and pull side; peak Trackman exit velocity of 83 MPH.
Defensively: Uses prep step; Active footwork playing through the ball routinely. Soft glove fielding the ball on the right side of the body with seamless transfers; moderate arm swing to a natural 3/4 release. OF - 72 MPH.
Pitching: Fundamental, balanced delivery with a leg lift just above the belt and coil before striding out to a slightly closed landing and pulling through to a repeatable release. Hand pushes straight down out of the glove before working through a clean 3/4 release. FB: Peak velo of 73 MPH, while sitting 68-71 MPH. Has life out of the hand with a Bauer Unit of 26 and advanced vertical ride up to 26.9". CH: 62-63 MPH. Good hand speed and tunneled well with the fastball .
