Physical: Thick, durable 6-foot, 195lb frame with strength carried in the actions. 8.34 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance using a slight bend in the knees as the hands operate powerfully above the shoulder. Utilized a leg lift stride (hip coil) to initiate his swing through a loud, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. High intent launch and able to stay turned over the backside with consistency, allowing for a lofty approach to the LCF side of the field (43% fly ball rate, 43% hard hit rate via Trackman). Backspun a couple for big time results, working up to a T365 foot batted ball distance at his peak. Middle of the order abilities also adding a plethora of line drives during his round. Able to produce his best swings when pitched out over the plate for extra extension with bat-speeds approaching the mid 70’s.
Defensively: The third baseman featured adequate footwork with ability to move laterally in either direction at a moderate posture. Bent at the waist, funneling inward using a semi-soft glove hand into a smooth transition. Accurate H ¾ slot at the release and 76 mph arm strength across the diamond to the target. Then moved behind the backstop receiving quietly from traditional setup, replacing the feet on pops with a short/medium arm circle on the trigger. Developing blocking technique with down chest angles over the plate.
Physical: Strong 5-foot-11, 190 lb filled out frame. 8.14 runner in the 60.
Offensively: Balanced stance with feet even and back knee slightly turned in while hands start back and in to the shoulder; leg hang and stride for timing with quiet hands as the front shoulder turns in slightly; strong effort from the lower half generating a quick swing into the zone with bat speed up to 74 MPH per Blast Motion; barrel is direct to contact with a slight uphill one hand finish yielding solid contact through the middle and pull side. 84 MPH peak exit velo.
Defensively: One knee set up with glove starting low in primary; secondary is low with feet slightly off set; fundamental footwork, glove is soft with a seamless transfer to a short arm action through a 3/4 release. C- 74 MPH
Physical: 5-foot-10, 185-pounds. Strong, filled out frame. 4.45 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Relaxed, upright stance with some movement in the upper half, high, loaded hands, uses a small leg lift for timing Hands are very quick to the ball, swing works uphill after the point of contact, finishes high with one hand. Gap to gap approach with some pop. 81 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Starts low and glides to the ball, shows glove side range, sure hands. Medium arm swing with a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 72 MPH.
