Physical: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds; Lean, athletic build. 7.44 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 88 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while playing low to the ground. Hands are soft with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 77 MPH.
Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance. Short simple load actions. Quick direct path to the baseball. Displayed hard contact to the pull side. Stays balanced throughout the swing. Defensively- the 2023 graduate worked out at short. Displayed active footwork. Above average funnel actions. Throws from a mid 3/4 arm slot. The 2023 graduate has good actions and will only increase his numbers as he continues to develop.
