Physical: Compact, projectable 5-foot-6, 163lb frame with developing athleticism. 8.88 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Wide open, idle stance with some bend in the rear leg as the hands operated flat on the shoulder. Utilized a leg hang stride and barrel tip to initiate a flat, direct path into the hitting zone. Worked inside the baseball, shooting backside contact the other way with some feel for the top hand. Notched a T78 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman coupled with a solid 58% line drive rate, suggesting good bat to ball skills during batting practice and singles power available. Will continue seeing measurables increase as he adds strength.
Defensively: The primary third baseman showcased attacking footwork, arriving on time at the fielding window with a moderate posture. Fielded cleanly off the middle of his body and funneled to the chest, using a shuffle towards the target then releasing from H ¾ slot (72 mph arm, accurate). Handled plays to his left with some lateral range.
