Matthew Toscano-Curry: SS/RHP, (2026) John F. Kennedy Catholic, NY. 145-pound athletic slim build. Solid projectable during batting practice, Toscano-curry had an exit velocity of 76 mph. Begins in an open athletic stance with a rhythmic handsy load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is average, uses a loose level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Up the middle pull side approach. Above average in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 80 mph; had a clean fluid exchange, soft hands, and athletic smooth footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a quick arm action and an-over-the-top slot. Clocked a time of 8.2 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable on the mound, showed some arm speed, he had a longer arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. During his delivery balance point is tall with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic upright finish. Threw his fastball 68-70 mph; shows running action and arm side command. (Max spin 1940; Avg 1800). Throws a 1/7 curveball (58-59) that shows glove side command and early action. (Max spin 1740; Avg 1687). Shows fading action and arm side control on his changeup (66-68).
