Physical: 6-foot-0, 210 pounds; muscular, athletic build with a strong lower half. 7.67 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Slightly open stance with high hands that are pushed back behind the right shoulder, pre loading the scap; Tall on the back leg, hitches the hands down and back in the load. Jumps forward to the ball at foot strike. shoots the back hip through, effectively clearing his hips with fast actions in the swing, uses the top hand to turn the barrel quickly into an uphill swing path. Hit the ball well to the left side of the field with easy juice, also displaying the ability to take the ball the other way with ease; peak Trackman exit velocity of 97 MPH.
Defensively: C/1B: Large target to throw to with a wide set in the feet / Wide feet with some bend at the belt; C/1B: Reaches out to receive the ball into a quick leap up to get moving toward the target / lets the ball travel to him, working his feet to get around the ball. C/1B: Sticks the ball well with firm hands and uses a seamless transfer / soft hands a clean transfer; C/1B: Short stab out of the glove going right to the ear and throwing from the typical catcher slot / some delay in the throw, appearing to get stuck in the glove on his back side. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with arm speed. 2.06-2.16 pop times. C - 77 MPH. INF - 81 MPH.
