Physical: Highly-athletic, efficient 6-foot-1, 175lb frame with strength found. 6.82 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Open, calm stance with quiet rhythm in the hands on the shoulder. Utilized a leg kick stride, landing at a wider, balanced attack while initiating through a flat, extended path into the hitting zone. Clean swing that produced lots of deep pull-side contact with ability to consistently get off in game action. Moderate intent with EZ effort at times en route to a T98 mph bat-exit velocity and 352 foot batted ball distance with home run juice. Posted a 56% fly ball rate with loft present in the approach, jolting the pitch above the belt for increased damage; high-follow middle of the order type bat.
Defensively: The outfielder got downward over the front side with pace and tempo during defense. Fielded off the left side and quickly turned the hips in-line to the target, shuffling once with a glove-tap and then releasing from a fast H ¾ slot (83 mph arm, CF/RF tendencies).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the left side of the rubber with a slower side rocker, then speeding up the rest of the way with an up-tempo leg-lift; maintained a drop/drive delivery down the slope landing balanced with a stiff front-side blocking off at H ¾ release. The FB ranged 78-80 mph for strikes to both sides, mixing a sharp 70-71 mph SL at T2319rpms (strikeout potential) and a fading 71-73 mph CH at 1144rpms. Feel for three and manipulated shape on SL at times.
Physical: Athletic, projectable 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame with evenly distributed proportions. 7.18 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - The righty started from an open, loose stance with rhythm in the hands at the shoulder. Utilized a deliberate leg lift stride with adjustability and athleticism throughout the move in the box, held posture well delivering the bat head through a flat, rhythmic path into the hitting zone. Recorded a standout 90 mph bat-exit velocity, driving the ball where it was pitched in any quadrant; gap to gap approach offensively. Stayed behind the ball with a still head promoting bat to ball skills (71% on-plane efficiency per Blast Motion). A 67% line drive rate according to Trackman Baseball was more than enough to know that he can handle the bat at an above-average level.
Defensively: The outfielder was comfortable in space showing off a quick first step with a low posture on the approach; fielded off the middle, left side of his body with easy funnels into the belt and towards the release from an athletic, high ¾ slot (83 mph). Could handle any of the three outfield spots with positional flexibility evident, checks all the boxes.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 160 pounds; lean build with athletic frame. 6.54 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Tall stance with straight legs and hands pushed back to the catcher; small stride forward with no weight shift. Limited effort with the lower half, not truly loading on to the back leg with level bat path, gives the opportunity to cover a lot of the plate and square the ball up. Pulled the ball well on the ground and hit hard line drives to the opposite field; peak Trackman exit velocity of 92 MPH.
Defensively: Bent knees and waist with some weight shifted on his toes; methodical approach to the ball letting it travel to him, tracked the ball well to field on glove side foot. Clean hands and a good transfer to a smooth crowhop; 3/4 slot with hand speed through the throwing window. INF - MPH. OF - 83 MPH.
Pitching: Choppy delivery with hands that move up with the knees, mixes in some hesitation in his delivery at the top of his leg lift. High 3/4 slot with quick actions in the throwing motion. FB: T 83 MPH, 81-83 MPH. Fastball showed great lift to the top of the zone, generates good spin on his FB. CB: 68-69 MPH. Displayed a very sharp breaking ball with great spin north of ~2500 rpm.
