Unsigned Senior Showcase (October 3, 2015) Michael checks in with a long and lean frame at 6-foot-0, 150lbs. Pitching- We've seen Michael a few times this summer and their are a few things that lead us to believe that over the long term he will be an important next level arm. His frame, as it develops, will allow for more torque. Expect to see late velocity development here has he has a quick arm. His low 3/4 arm slot makes his FB (79-81 MPH) even more deceptive as he's shown the ability to keep it down. Breaking ball right now is a cross between slurve and slider where it may be more beneficial to take the slider path in the future due to FB arm slot. Breaking ball sits right now in the 65-67 MPH range but would be harder if Michael chooses the slider route. Would like to see more of the change up, especially as a weapon vs. LHH. Definitely a sleeper pick that could develop into a big time arm.

Western New York Open (August 2015) Stands 6-foot-0, 150-pounds with a frame that could easily hold more mass. Pitching- From the mound he uses a side-step, good tempo in his delivery. Arm action is back towards SS, long and fluid. Fastball sits 79-81 mph with some arm sink, signs of more velocity to come. Curveball was at 70 mph, at times he gets around the ball, when his fingers stay on top it has late, 10/4 shape sweep, above average pitch. Changeup works down and fades at 67-69. Chance to be pretty good with some added strength.
New York Games (July 7-9, 2015) Stands 6-foot-0, 150-pounds with a tall and lanky frame. Pitching- From the mound he uses a slow delivery, arm action is long in the back, throws the baseball from a low-3/4 slot. Fastball sat 76-78, topping 80 mph with some late life signs. Curveball sat 71-73 with some spin and late action. Finishes to his glove side.
