Michael Mack: RHP/SS, (2024) Saratoga Springs, NY. Northeastern Commit, 6-foot-2, 200-pound projectable long build. Above average and projectable on the mound, used a very quick loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing above average quick arm speed. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Displays in line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 91-92 mph; had command arm side in the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 2306; Avg 2045). Shows hard tilt action and glove side around the zone command on his 11/5 sharp curveball (78-79). (Max spin 2024; Avg 1963). His changeup (84-85) had hard action and arm side control.

Physical: Even-proportioned, lengthy 6-foot-1, 165lb frame with projection. 7.51 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, narrow stance at a taller-posture as the hands started up/down in rhythm out over the plate. Utilized a leg-lift stride, initiating the bat head through a slightly uphill, whippy path into the hitting zone. Featured a connected approach during batting practice, letting the hands get extended to the front of the plate consistently. Produced a fly ball heavy barrage, up to an 80% FB rate (via Trackman) en route to a T90 mph bat-exit velocity and 352 foot batted ball distance at his peak. Middle of the order abilities down the road.
Defensively: The shortstop demonstrated loose, light footwork, shuffling accurately early in routes and setting himself up for good hops at the fielding window. Flashed a soft glove hand with push and pull through the baseball and used a clean exchange to the waist; repeatable, medium-intent high-¾ slot (76 mph arm, accurate).
Pitching: RHP - The righty started tall off the far left side of the rubber with some pace to the delivery. Got to a slightly hip coiled position at the stack, working downhill with separation as the arm worked fluidly from a H ¾ slot. Athletic actions and repeated well, carrying the FB up to 83 mph (81-83). Mixed a short, two-plane 62-64 mph CB with gradual shape and turned to a more lateral 69-71 mph SL to give hitters a different look. A 75-77 mph CH was commanded extremely well with short fade.
6-foot, 160-pound right-handed pitcher and shortstop. Ran a 7.62 sixty at the event. The glove at shortstop is solid and the feet need to be more active during the catch and transfer into the throwing. He threw 76 mph during the infield portion. The bat has a exit velocity of 88 mph. The setup is even in base and open to start. The front foot closes down as the ball approaches, and the front foot gains ground to the ball. The hands work freely to the ball. On the mound, the fastball touched 80 mph with arm side run to it. The spin pitch is progressing nicely, sitting at 65-66 mph. The changeup is 71-72 mph and developing nicely. The delivery has a minimal amount of crossfire and the slot is above 3/4. The tracking is improving and the tempo is solid. The eyes need to pick up the target a tad earlier. Very good prospect on the mound.

5-foot-6, 125-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 4.87 home to first at the workout. The actions are athletic in the middle, can continue to progress to keep the feet moving as he fields the ball. The glove is soft and he has a feel for the game. Threw 66 mph across the diamond with minimal effort, as he had throw 100 pitches the day before. The bat had a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot is open to start. The foot closes down and he glides his weight into the swing. The path is clean to the ball, needs to get stronger. Uses a 1-handed finish after contact.
