Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Extended take back of the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a moderate swing path with a finish around the back. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are underneath the body with a clean transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 75 MPH.
Physical: Lean, lanky 6-foot-1, 180lb frame that carries tons of projection in the actions. 8.60 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Balanced, shoulder-width start as the hands showed high at the head to begin; utilized a leg-lift stride in order to initiate through a flat, whippy path into the hitting zone. Could get slightly handsy at times in the upper half, producing a 36% line drive rate to the pull-side of the field and added a T86 mph bat-exit velocity (via Trackman) with some leverage at times to the front of the plate. Singles power at the moment working up to a 259 foot batted ball distance while hitting into an adjustable lead leg during his BP round.
Defensively: The primary first baseman moved around at a moderate posture, approaching just outside the shoulders with the feet. Bent at the waist, fielding softly off his right side and funneling inward; got the shoulders, hips in line and released from a lower ¾ slot accurately to the target (68 mph arm).
Physical: Long, lean 6-foot, 180-pound frame with projectability present in the build, 8.69 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Upright, loose setup as the hands started with rhythm at the shoulder. Utilized a barrel tip at the top of the load coupled with a leg hang stride in order to initiate the bat head through a whippy, slightly vertical attack into the hitting zone. Recorded a 36% line drive rate per Trackman Baseball with a mainly RCF approach during batting practice; an 85 mph peak bat-exit velocity played very well, considering he posted a standout 86% on-plane efficiency according to Blast Motion.
Defensively: The primary first baseman featured a medium-high posture at the fielding window while arriving on time. Soft glove hand off of the middle / right foot and released from an accurate ¾ slot across the diamond (68 mph arm strength).
Physical: Lean, lanky build with room to grow. 8.45 runner in the 60; 5.16 home-to-1B.
Offensively: LHH. Level stance with the plate, keeps knees bent, bat held high above the ear, small leg kick Quick hands through the zone, contact hitter up the middle, slight upward swing, finishes with 2 hands on bat. Contact hitter up the middle. 66 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Keeps glove down, plays back on the ball, fields ball cleanly, accurate throw. Over the top arm slot. OF - 58 MPH.
Pitching: Fundamental, balanced delivery with a short drop step and leg lift to the belt, gets into back side with a clean hand separation as stride in line to a repeatable release and follow through. long, fluid arm action to a 3/4 slot. FB: T63, 58-61 MPH. Locates in the zone with arm side run. CB: 49-52 MPH. Big, early break with 11-5 shape.
