Berke sits in at 6-foot-2; 165 pounds with a tall lean athletic frame. Ran a 7.40 – 60 at NYS Games showcase. Offensively-Sets up square to the plate with a wide base and hands behind back shoulder. Slight movement with the bat before his trigger of a soft step forward and his hands moving back slightly into a good hitting position. Quick hands to the hitting zone with good barrel action through to a high two handed finish. Provides good rotation from lower half on swing. Hits low strikes well; line drive approach. Recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Defensively-Good approach. Tends to field balls with weight back on his heel. More weight shift forward with glove more out in front technique will improve. Quick transfer and good arm action. Improved arm strength will allow for some flexibility on the infield. Recorded a position player velocity of 67 mph.
