Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 81 MPH via Trackman. Natural hand speed present. Could benefit from additional activity in the lower half as well as increased efficiency in matching pitch plane.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands work through the ball while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle while using various arm slots. INF - 74 MPH. Feet remain active with his hands working through the ball well.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 74-75 MPH; life through the zone. CB: 60-64 MPH; showed depth. CH: 67-68 MPH; maintains same plain. Above average spin on the fastball as well as IVB on the breaker.
