Physical: 5-foot-7, 165 pounds; athletic, muscular frame. 6.76 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Slightly open front side with some weight shifted on the back leg, maintains high hands with a flat bat; a big leg kick in a long stride forward, torques the bat to turn the barrel on foot strike. Aggressive lower half, clears the hips easily and on time with slight uphill movements, quick hands allow him to turn the barrel quickly and get the bat through the zone. Pulled the ball easily, lifted just about all his hits with no struggle; peak Trackman exit velocity of 91 MPH.
Defensively: Upright stance with some bend at the waist, feet narrow with one shifted in front of the other; takes a direct route to the ball, moves with confidence and gains a ton of momentum through the ball. Easy hands with a clean transfer into the throw; short take away out of the glove, exceptional arm speed allows him to post big numbers from the OF, high 3/4 slot. OF - 83 MPH.
