Physical: Athletic, even-proportioned 5-foot-11, 175lb frame with some feel present. 7.56 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Wide, even stance with a slight bend in the knees as the hands operated with some barrel wiggle off the shoulder. Utilized a barrel tip as the backside elbow worked subtly higher, initiating the bat head through a tilted, whippy slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Produced lots of pull-side line drives during batting practice (44% line drive rate via Trackman) staying in the legs and flashing ability to hit for some average down the road. Adjustable approach that could spray contact to the middle of the field when pitched out over the plate. Found success up to a T92 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak and posted a solid 336 foot batted ball distance (extra-base hit power).
Defensively: The primary outfielder featured active, on-time footwork that played well when getting down through the baseball. A soft glove hand operated loosely off the left side, fielding and funneling softly inward and releasing quickly from a H ¾ slot with pace (81 mph arm, accurate). Then slid to the infield where he handled plays in any direction with clean lateral actions at the hot corner. Good range and medium posture, shuffling in-line towards the target accurately from ¾ slot (low intent, 71 mph arm). Available positional flexibility and demonstrated smooth tempo from the left side of the diamond.
