Physical: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds; Lean, athletic build. 7.23 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Loads straight back with a toe-tap for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a a finish around the back. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman. consistent solid contact.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are off to the side with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 83 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride while landing slightly closed. Moderate arm swing while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of MPH, while sitting MPH; life and ride through the zone. CB: MPH; 10-4 shape. SL: lateral action. CH: fading action.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 150lb frame with plenty of projection left. 7.36 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance at shoulder-width as the hands showed loosely/calm at the shoulder. Utilized a short leg lift on time with a slight barrel-tip, initiating the bat head through a quick, flat path into the hitting zone. No wasted movements in the swing allowing for hard barrels sprayed over the middle of the field and an impressive 63% line drive rate (via Trackman) during his batting practice round. Adjustable athlete, matching pitch plane in all quadrants and finding a way, working up to a T84 mph bat-exit velocity (80 mph average) and near 280 foot batted ball distance. Mostly singles power and ability to hit for average at a high rate.
Defensively: The primary outfielder stayed behind the baseball with good posture and feel for his body in space. Fielded off the left side and funneled cleanly inward, allowing for a quick, high ¾ slot using a medium arm circle on the backside (80 mph arm strength, accurate). Able to patrol a corner outfield position, mainly LF with a legitimate chance at center as the speed continues increasing.
Pitching: RHP - Began off the middle of the rubber with consistent pace through the delivery; got to an even stack with slight hip coil and moved in-sync, on-time down the slope into an adjustable front side that blocked off properly. Released from H ¾, entering the zone at 78-80 mph with 1821 rpms and 14 inches of carry on average (via Trackman). Mixed a swing/miss 68-70 mph CB with two-plane shape and extra dive off the plate (2510rpms, 18 inches HM). Countered with a solid CH at 70-73 mph at near FB arm-speed and 7-8 mph off the heater.
