Athletic 5-foot-10, 180-pound right-hander, ran a 7.39/60. Offensively - keeps bat on a level plane through the strike zone out of an upright stance, repeatable motion, comfortable driving to middle third of the field with an exit velocity of 87 MPH; evidence of counter rotation between upper and lower torso but further lower body engagement will produce more power. Defensively - agile footwork, takes direct line to the ball, sets up well behind ball to generate momentum for an accurate throw at 81 MPH. Pitching - uses height to create a downward plane on fastball at 82-85 MPH, effectively changes eye level and works both sides of the plate for strikes; development of secondary will necessary to balance attack.
