Physical: Long-legged, projectable 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame with athleticism present in the actions. 7.39 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Started from a wide, slightly open setup as the hands started with minor rhythm off of the shoulder. Utilized a short leg lift stride in order to initiate the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone towards a high finish. Recorded an 87 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball utilizing a middle of the field approach during his batting practice round. Consistent, hard barrels with occasional lift above the belt, staying mostly on a line to the LCF gap (36% line drive rate). Quick hands (24.7 mph hand speed) and quality bat to ball skills (74% on-plane efficiency) should make him a tough out at the plate in game action.
Defensively: The primary outfielder was calculated in the approach; stayed behind the ball until he got a good read, then attacking out over the toes. Fielded off the left side while corralling and releasing from a lengthy, high ¾ slot with good intent behind it. Notched accurate 83 mph throws from his position with abilities to slot at any two of the three outfield positions moving forward.
