Physical: Strong lower half build in a well proportioned, 5-foot-11, 185-pound frame. 8.90 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. The righty started from an upright even stance with waving rhythm in the hands. Utilized a toe tap stride in order to unload the barrel through a flat path with violent turns through the hitting window. Recorded a 50% line drive rate while staying behind the ball and “palm up, palm down” at impact, well in the swing. Demonstrated some whip and leverage at impact giving way to a pull-side approach and 241 foot peak batted ball distance per Trackman Baseball. Notched an 83 mph bat-exit velocity with room for more as he continues refinement. Current developing doubles power to the LCF gap at the moment.
Defensively: The primary third baseman featured a low setup with bend in the knees; arrived on time to the baseball with a soft glove hand out in front, average pace across the diamond as he released from a traditional high ¾ slot with minor momentum towards the target (71 mph) .. The outfielder stayed behind the ball until fielding, corralling the baseball off his left side with a soft glove hand. Got the hips and shoulders in line and let it rip from a high ¾ slot (67 mph).
