Physical: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds; Athletic, wiry build. 7.05 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Extended take back of the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 88 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Long arm swing while using various arm slots. INF - 71 MPH.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds; Wiry, lean build. 6.93 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Extended take back of the hands with a heel lift for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are underneath the body while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle while using various arm slots. INF - 73 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; using various arm slots. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 73 MPH, while sitting 70-73 MPH. CB: 58-62 MPH.
Physical: Athletic, lean 5-foot-10, 160lb frame with quick actions on the field. 7.14 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Wide, bent stance that starts slightly open as the hands began at a deliberate 45. Utilized a rock backwards to the shoulder and short lift and replace stride to initiate the bat head through a flat, accurate path into the hitting zone. Top of the order, short type of swing that produced lots of line drive contact through the middle of the field (50% LD rate via Trackman) en route to a T90 mph bat-exit velocity during his round. Featured occasional doubles power to the RCF side (320 foot batted ball distance) and showcased ready bat to ball skills, able to control both sides of the plate for hard contact.
Defensively: The middle infielder featured active, adequate footwork arriving early to the target with a lower, bending posture in the legs. A soft glove hand fielded softly inward and released from a H ¾ slot (shorter, accurate, 71 mph peak arm strength). Second base projection and quick hands that can play at a good tempo.
Pitching: RHP - The righty started off the left side of the rubber with a fast pace in the delivery. Landed mostly in-line releasing from a H ¾ slot with developing actions. The FB ranged from 70-72 mph with obvious arm-side run, mixing a commanded 58-60 mph CB with small depth. Then added a 59-60 mph CH at 1664rpms average.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 155-pound frame with compact strength at the moment. 7.01 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Started from a balanced, controlled stance as the hands started loose out over the plate, in front of the neck. Utilized a short lift and replace stride with a gather load to the shoulder in order to initiate the bat head through a direct, flat path into the hitting zone. Could pull the barrel towards impact at times, but that didn’t stop him from accruing a standout 60% line drive rate through the middle of the field during batting practice. Feel for the timing mechanism and obvious bat to ball skills present when looking at an 88% on-plane efficiency per Blast Motion. Recorded an 87 mph bat-exit velocity with a developing power ceiling down the road (20 G’s of average rotational acceleration).
Defensively: The primary middle infielder is going to the chance to be a solid defender as he continues adding strength. The actions play at a high level, beating the ball to the spot at a low position with confidence in the glove hand. Kept the chest over the toes, gaining ground and held solid posture throughout the funnel into the belt loop, accurate 70 mph arm strength from a standard v-slot, room for more.
Physical: Long and athletic 5-foot-8, 140-pound frame with feel for his body in multiple phases. 7.25 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Wide, balanced stance with an even setup as the hands start right out in front of the shoulder. Utilized a deep hand load coupled with a short and repeatable lift and replace stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Displayed plenty of line drives to the middle and LCF gap with advanced feel for the hands and ability to keep the barrel in the zone a long time. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 85 mph according to Trackman Baseball with adjustability in the lower half.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder demonstrated active footwork arriving to the spot on time with regularity, got down low with the center of the gravity on the approach while fielding off of the middle of the body, stayed low through the shuffles, arm worked accurately out of a high ¾ slot with a moderate takeaway. SS - 68 mph
Pitching: RHP - Deliberate pace in the delivery with a feel for timing and rhythm throughout, arm worked through a repeatable, high ¾ slot with directional drive towards home plate. FB played from 65-68 mph and filled up the zone with advanced command, mixed in a slow and short breaking, 58-60 mph CB with 11/5 shape.
Physical: 5-foot-8, 140-pounds. Wiry; athletic build; potential for more weight. 7.23 runner in the 60; 4.4 home-to-1B.
Offensively: LHH. Wide base, feet are a little further than shoulder width; hands start out front then drop back into a deep load; picks foot up and puts it back down Upwards swing path; tendency to get under the ball; good bat whip. Showed pop to pull-side gap, contact hitter. 78 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Active feet; lets the ball get a little too deep when fielding; little hop step for timing the ground ball. low 3/4 arm slot; long arm swing. INF - 67 MPH.
