A strong physical frame at 5-foot-9,190 pounds. Ran a 7.76 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- The right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance with feet shoulder width apart. Uses a slight toe tap for timing before entering the hitting zone. Quick direct path to the baseball. Gets good extension and good use of the lower half when attacking the baseball . Showed some pull side pop. Top exit velocity during the hitting portion was 91 MPH. Defensively- As a catcher, sits back in a low base. Presents a big target for the pitcher. Has a quick exchange and throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity was 74 MPH. Pop time ranged from 2.08-2.15 . The 2019 Catcher is a must follow.
