Judson stands in at 5-foot-7, 150-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Ran a 4.30 home to first. Offensively- Righty sets up square to the pitcher with his feet just outside shoulder width. Shows a slight knee bend with an upright torso with his hands just above the back shoulder using little pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch, his trigger is a knee raise into the body to stride forward while his hands move back into his hitting position. Shows quick hands into the hitting zone with a level bat path throughout into a high two-handed finish. Uses good lower body rotation clearing his hips to get whole body frame involved in the swing. Demonstrated solid contact with line drive ability to all fields during batting practice round. Clean, smooth swing with upside. Recorded an exit velocity of 75 MPH. Defensively- Good footwork and approach to the baseball. Smooth fielding mechanics with a good funnel into the chest and quick transition to the throwing hand. Uses aggressive footwork towards intended target and moves well left/right. Shows plus footwork getting to the baseball and keeping it in front. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 70 MPH.
