Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 155lb frame with long levers. 7.54 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Even, balanced stance with short rhythm in the hands above the shoulder; direct lift and replace stride to the pitcher, initiating the swing through a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone. Contact type hitter, finding the barrel to the pull-side with some feel for the top hand during his round; recorded a T87 mph bat-exit velocity with mostly singles power available. Notched a 36% fly ball rate (via Trackman) showcasing occasional lift to the RCF gap with leverage.
Defensively: The outfielder displayed adequate footwork from a medium posture, getting the chest down over the toes when presenting a soft glove hand off his right side. Funneled accurately to the throwing hand, repeating and releasing from a H ¾ slot (79 mph arm strength, corner OF projection).
Pitching: LHP - Started tall off the middle of the rubber; easy, repeatable delivery with good direction down the slope. Worked to a balanced stack position, breaking the hands and landing athletically with some downhill action from a H ¾ slot. The FB landed at 81-82 mph with arm-side run, holding the zone for strikes. Mixed in a consistent 62-65 mph CB and featured a feel to spin the baseball out in front, adding a sharper 72-73 mph SL for a different look.
Physical: Long, wiry 5-foot-10, 155 lb frame
Pitching: Starts with a slow, controlled pace with a leg lift above the belt, gets into backside while striding out and across the mound; glove arm reaches up high and across before pulling through against a stiff post leg; Compact, fluid arm circle through a natural 3/4 release. FB: Life out of the hand (27 Bauer Unit) with ride (21" IVB) and run (-11.9") through the zone. CB: Sharp 1-7 shape with + movement; -10" vertical drop and up to 20.7" horizontal movement. CH: Good hand speed with up to 14.6" arm side fade.
Physical: Long and lean, projectable 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame with feel for his body on the diamond. 7.74 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Started from a slightly bent, balanced stance with athleticism present at the plate; utilized an early toe tap stride with some hip drift into a deep land position out towards the pitcher, created stretch and unloaded through a flat, high intent path with fluidity at impact. Recorded an 86 mph bat-exit velocity giving way to a 30% fly ball rate mostly to the pull-side gap. Could stay on pitches out over the plate, but rolled at times across his body (60% groundball rate) on this date. The potential is there in the movements; up to a 281 foot maximum batted ball distance and looked explosive at times in the box. More to come as he continues adding strength.
Defensively: The primary outfielder stayed behind the ball well until exploding through after fielding from a bent, well balanced position on throws towards the target, high ¾ slot with whip at extension yielding a solid 79 mph throwing arm. Good reads off the bat and fielded off the right foot from a moderate posture. Projects to handle a corner outfield position moving forward, though the actions speak to improving athleticism across the board.
