On the mound the righty throws from a lower ¾ almost sidearm slot. Delivery is fluent and towards the plate. Fastball shows side to side movement at times at 71-74 mph. Spins an 11-5 breaking ball with gradual break at 59-62 mph. Spots his secondary offering in the lower half of the zone well. Rounds out his repertoire with a changeup 68-69 mph. Comes in with slight downward break. At first base defensively he fields it out front displaying nice hands. Gets off the bag well when turning two. Throws were on the bag at 71 mph. At third base his glove was average and is still developing on coming through the ball. Footwork was average. Arm had longer action to it and threw 70 mph across the diamond to first base. At the plate Olech starts in a balanced, open setup. Squares back up through a short stride as hands travel slightly back prior to launch. Swing is level with some barrel lag through the zone. Natural tools are developing. Worked through a middle-away approach showing feel to the opposite field gap. More pop to come as physical maturation takes its course.
