Premier defender who jumped in the box and showcased a quality, top of the lineup skill set. Simple movements, compact path, and impressive feel for contact. Almost every ball left the barrel w/line drive flight to the middle of the field.
Anthony Sulek: SS, (2024) Mason, OH. 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic lean frame. Above average at the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 91 mph. Started in a narrow open stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was present, and displayed a simple level swing plane. He found multiple barrels through his round. Up the middle line drive approach. Advanced athletic showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 87 mph; had a fluid natural exchange, twitchy consistent hands, and athletic fluid footwork. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Used a loose consistent arm action with a high ¾ slot. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.63.
SS, (2024) William Mason, OH. 5-foot-10, 160-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Has quick bat speed, short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 74 mph; had a clean exchange, quick footwork, and firm hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.94.
Anthony Sulek: SS/2B, (2024) William Mason, OH. 5-foot-9, 145-pound. Solid during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 86 mph. (63.64 mph bat speed average). (19.95 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a small controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is above average, uses a level swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels during his rounds. Line drive approach. Athletic while in the infield, made throws up to 80 mph; had soft sure hands, athletic footwork, and a natural fluid exchange. Showed a compact arm action and consistent accuracy to the base.
