Scouting Notes: A guy who continues to raise his stock with a very strong summer. 6-foot-3, fast arm and up to 87mph on this day (we saw up to 88 mph last week). As impressive as his size/velo was his ability to locate both secondary offerings that are above average stuff wise.
Fastball: 85-88mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 2103-2233
Breaking Ball: 70-73mph.
Breaking Ball Spin Rate: 2252-2369
Changeup: 76-79mph.
6-foot-3, 205-pound athletic body frame. On the mound he throws with some effort to his delivery, landing in a straight line at foot strike finishing with his momentum carrying toward home plate. Does a good job of creating torque and getting his lower half involved. Throws with quick arm speed through a ¾ slot. His fastball ranged from 85-87 mph and touched 88 mph. Slider looked to be his best breaking pitch on this occasion with good shape and sharp, sinking bite at 76-77 mph. His curveball has more depth than his slider with 11/5 tilt and some late bite thrown between 72-74 mph. Changeup is deceptive, throwing it while using fastball arm speed at 79-80. Also mixes in a cut fastball at 83-84 mph.

Delivery Notes: Smooth fluid delivery with plus mechanics. Presents a high leg lift that allows him to be able to engage his lower half. Arm to watch.
Fastball: True through the zone, has some zip on it at 86mph.
Curveball: 11/5 break with sharp bite and above average depth at 73mph.
Changeup: Keeps hitters off balanced by keeping arm speed the same throughout, showing sharp arm side fade across the plate.
