6-foot-2, 200-pound solid frame. Above average at the plate, Iatonna's 94 mph exit velocity ranks him 1st at the event. Begins in a balanced stance with a compact load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is above average, displays an upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Laterally, his movements were developing. Behind the plate, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 68 mph; shows average feet, firm hands, and a quick exchange. Had a pop time of 2.25-2.35. Staggered setup with some flexibility. Showed a stiff arm action with some accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.34.
Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Hands show a back load during controlled stride for timing. All fields in approach in BP with natural ball flight to the middle. Physical dude with serviceable batspeed. Fast rotator.
