Austin Leszynski: RHP/1B, (2024) Chardon High School, OH. 6-foot-3, 215-pound solid projectable build. (71.6 mph bat speed average). (23.5 mph hand speed average). Starts in a crouched athletic stance with a smooth compact load, then uses a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed is explosive, displays a short uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive approach. Advanced In the infield, shows smooth consistent feet, a clean fluid exchange, and soft sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front.

(23.7 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, showed an upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 79 mph; showed quick feet, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.95. On the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 78-81 mph. Had slight running action.
