Physical: Developing, athletic frame at 5-foot-8, 160lbs. 7.11 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Crouched, wider stance that rocked with rhythm into the swing. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate a flat path into the hitting zone. Contact approach that could pack a punch to the pull-side gap (299 foot distance). Matched plane well to different zones and produced a T86 mph bat-exit velocity; carried success over to gameplay with a couple hits.
Defensively: The middle infielder arrived on time while staying under the base with center of gravity. Chopped footwork and released up to 74 mph across the diamond. Made plays on the run accurately, changed routes to his glove hand side.
Pitching: RHP - Side rocker step from the middle/left of the rubber. Repeatable delivery that allowed from some deception out of a H ¾ release. Mixed 76-78, T80 mph FB with varied command on this date and two-plane upper-60’s CB on an 11/5 tilt.
