Beau Polen: OF/RHP, (2024) Norwayne, OH. 5-foot-11, 150-pound. Began in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had efficient bat speed, simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 78 mph; has soft hands, a natural exchange, and consistent feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.39.
Beau Polen: OF/RHP, (2024) Norwayne, OH. 5-foot-10, 135-pound. In the box, Polen had a max exit velocity of 74 mph. Started in a balanced tall stance with a tight load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was quick, used a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 74 mph; had sure hands, consistent developing footwork, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.68. .
