Solid in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 82 mph; had soft hands, a natural exchange, and consistent footwork. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1976; Avg 1786).
