Hit: Physical bat from the left side. Uses a simple loading sequence that flows into a backside launch. Uphill path with respectable bat speed. Worked middle of the field in BP.
Power: Flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Middle.
Field: Plays with good tempo, showed developing ball skills.
Throw: Arm has a chance to be a well above average tool.
Defensive Projection: Corner outfield.
Delivery/Scouting Notes: High follow in the 2023 class. A well put together prospect who ran the fastball up to 82mph. Talking to the Canes staff he's a guy who's taken huge jumps over the past calendar year. Secondary stuff will need to come along but there's a lot to like here.
Fastball: Regular arm side action. Low 80s with potential for much more.
Breaking Ball: Pops out of the hand with 1/7 shape and gradual action.
Changeup: Developing third offering with some dive to it.
Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.
