Began in an athletic tall stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had efficient bat speed, loose uphill swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 75 mph; had consistent footwork, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Solid from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 80 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.3. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose long arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows easy effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1830; Avg 1778). Throws a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 1844; Avg 1793).

Starts in a wide crouched stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick efficient, showed a short uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He created a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Line drive approach. Confident capable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph; has a natural exchange, sure hands, and rhythmic in control feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used an-over-the-top slot and a loose longer arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.49. Projectable capable on the mound, showing consistent developing arm speed he used a ¾ arm angle and a loose moderate arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses decent effort. Showed consistent balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with recoil finish.  (Max spin 1795; Avg 1714).

(21.4 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a loose uphill swing plane and balanced finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 81 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and soft hands. Solid from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 82 mph; had consistent footwork, a natural exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a consistent arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.41 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, used a loose long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows some effort. Sat with his fastball at 82-83 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1659; Avg 1526). Has some sweeping action on his 11/5 curveball (66-68). (Max spin 1887; Avg 1788). He had slight action on his changeup (69-70).

Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 81 mph; had sure hands, a clean exchange, and quick footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.8. Solid on the mound, showed some arm speed with a loose clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Threw his fastball 83-85 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1985; Avg 1881). His 11/5 curveball (70-71) showed some sweeping action. (Max spin 2381; Avg 2364). He has slight fading action on his changeup (78-79). His splitter (75-76) had deceiving action. 

Billy Bourk: RHP/3B, (2024) Lima Central Catholic, OH. 6-foot-4, 170-pound projectable frame. Projectable in the box, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 84 mph. Started in an open stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Had above average bat speed, uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls throughout the round. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 75 mph; has smooth feet, and sure hands. Solid in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 77 mph; has consistent hands, smooth feet, and a lengthy exchange. Movements laterally were athletic. Used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.78. Solid on the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action. Feel type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed a consistent balance point. Shows a falling off finish. Curveball (66-69 mph), changeup (75-76 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 79-81 mph.

Billy Bourk: 3B/RHP, (2024) Lima Central Catholic, OH. 6-foot-4, 170-pound projectable frame. In the box, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 82 mph. Began in an open athletic stance with a smooth quick load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed is average and shows a level swing plane. Athletic while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 72 mph; showed soft hands, athletic developing feet, and a clean developing exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.92. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Athletic balance point. Splitter (68-69 mph).Threw his fastball 78-82 mph; shows arm side control and running action. Throws a 11/5 curveball (63-67) that has gradual action. His changeup (68-69) has fading action and arm side control.

Hit: Obvious upside in the box from the left side. One of the more projectable frames we saw. Ball really jumps and he's only going to get better as he adds strength. Turned on balls with authority ion BP.
Power: Projects for at least occasional power.
Offensive Projection: Run producer.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 86mph.
Max BP Distance: 311ft.
Field: Corner skill set in the outfield. Plays with an uptempo pace and maintains rhythm throughout. Ball skills are ahead of the curve for class. Also worked out over at third base where he offers above average athleticism/lateral mobility and glove skills. Jumped behind the dish as well where he showed respectable pop times.
Throw: Looser arm with above average strength.
Defensive Projection: UTL.

Scouting Notes: 6-foot-3, uber projectable frame. Easier delivery with arm coming through a near 3/4 slot. Impressive feel for his movements considering his youth/length. Up to 79mph with a playable breaking ball.
Fastball: 76-79mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1572-1828.
Curveball: 63-66mph.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1703-2054.

Swing Mechanics: Left-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open stance. Double tap timing trigger with quiet hands.
Hit: Balanced launch with a mostly level path. Long lever type that can do damage when he gets extended. Swing is more physical than he is fast at this stage.
Power: Gap abilities with much more to come.
Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling.
Field: Moves well in the outfield. Plays fast and has obvious confidence in his glove. Also worked out behind the dish. Good athlete back there with a high motor. Looks to be a solid defender at both spots.
Throw: ¾ right-hander with already respectable strength and much more to come down the road.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: High leg kick with more left in the lower half. Low 3/4 arm slot with a release point extended away front the body.

Fastball: 70-73mph. Arm side run with a long delivery playing up velocity. In the zone consistently but needs to locate within the zone better.

Curveball: 61-64mph. Solid offering with tight spin on a 11/5 plane. Serves as a good out pitch.

Splitter: 58-59mph. Slower spin with decent drop off the table. Keeps hitters off balance inducing soft contact.

Pitchability: In the zone with three pitches.

Additional Comments: Pitcher to watch as lengthy frame fills out and becomes stronger.
