6-foot-2, 170 pound middle infield prospect cleans up well defensively. Glovework was average and still developing in coming through it. Footwork was average and took nice angles when fielding the ball. Throws with a shorter arm action and hit 76 ph on the gun for his throwing velocity across the diamond with accuracy. Showed off a line drive swing from the right side. Hands stay quiet during his leg kick timing trigger and controlled stride forward. Swing is compact, traveling on a downhill path to contact. Offers above average strength and speed to hands. A good athlete with an efficient swing. Much more pop than exit velocity would indicate. Would like to see him level at path to let natural tools show more in swing/create more natural ball flight.
