Started in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled compact load, then used a small leg kick. Has quick bat speed, simple uphill swing plane and balanced finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 76 mph; had consistent footwork, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.86 at the event. On the mound, showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2064; Avg 1926). Has gradual action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 2206; Avg 2084). Showed a 10/4 slider with late action. (Max spin 2089; Avg 2054).
