Started in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, exhibits a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 77 mph; shows consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.74. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2260; Avg 2058). Threw a 1/7 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 2341; Avg 2002). Has tight action on his 2/8 slider. (Max spin 2400; Avg 2377).
