RHP/OF, (2023) Olentangy Liberty, OH. 6-foot-2, 175-pound. Solid on the mound, showed some arm speed with a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Displays downhill shoulders with a strong balance point. Lands square with balanced finish. Threw his fastball 84-87 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2183; Avg 2056). He shows slight fading action on his changeup (74-75). Threw a 10/4 slider (72-73) with late tight action. (Max spin 2103; Avg 2003).
Brock Amelung: RHP/1B, (2023) Olentangy Liberty, OH. 6-foot-2, 175-pound. Solid on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 89-90 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2315; Avg 2284). He has slight fading action on his changeup (77-78). His 10/4 slider (75-77) had late tight action. (Max spin 2413; Avg 2279).
Brock Amelung: SS/RHP, (2023) Olentangy Liberty, OH. 6-foot, 155-pound. Solid during batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Began in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had an upward swing plane and efficient bat speed. Barreled up multiple balls during his round. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 78 mph; has sure hands, athletic feet, and a natural exchange. Athletic on the mound, showed good arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action. Feel type pitcher and shows some effort. Displayed a recoil finish Curveball (65-67 mph), changeup (69-70 mph).Sat with his fastball at 80-83 mph.
Scouting Notes: Two-way prospect. Over the top righty with a downhill fastball. Pairs breaking ball well w/the pitch coming out of a similar tunnel to fastball. Definite follow here on both sides of the ball.

Hit:Uses a leg kick timing trigger during back load to hands. Uphill path with a balanced combination of strength and speed to stroke. Backspun the ball to the middle of the field.
Power:Flashed gap abilities. Ball comes off well when squared.
Offensive Projection:Multiple Roles.
Field:Controlled, easy tempo in the infield. Plays the ball deep in the middle of his body in funnel. Actions are bit more athletic on the move. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw:Clean very loose arm that should easily support added mphs down the road with physicality.
Defensive Projection:Left side of infield.
