Begins in an athletic strong stance with a quick load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, showed a level swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 79 mph; has sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot and a consistent arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.01. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1917; Avg 1858). Showed a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 1978; Avg 1929).
