Caden Otterbacher: CF, (2024) Tiffin Calvert, OH. 6-foot-3, 190-pound. (67.4 mph bat speed average). (23.3 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed was quick, displayed a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 80 mph; showed a natural exchange, sure hands, and quick feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.81. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action while showing some arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1705; Avg 1642).
