Cameron Snider: OF/RHP, (2024) Bethel-Tate, OH. 6-foot-1, 150-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. (69.7 mph bat speed average). (21.1 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is quick flashed, displays a simple uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid recorded an outfield position velocity of 83 mph; shows consistent feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.65 at the event. On the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-79 mph and topped out at 80 mph; Has slight running action. (Max spin 2573; Avg 2522). Shows some action on his 11/5 curveball (64-65). (Max spin 2463; Avg 2426). His 10/4 slider (63-66) has tight action. (Max spin 2495; Avg 2431).
