Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a quick stride. Has efficient above average bat speed, simple uphill swing plane and balanced finish. He barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short loose arm action with a ¾ slot. Advanced projectable on the mound, showing electric arm speed he had a short clean arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Uses easy effort in his delivery. Balance is tall point with an even shoulders in his delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 1905; Avg 1740).
