North Carolina recruit, started off his day by running an event best 6.62 60-yard dash - electronically timed. That number is even more impressive given his 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame and the traditionally slow track. In the box, he looked cleaner mechanically with more fluid movements than we’ve seen in prior showings. The BP was loud. He was backspinning balls with authority anywhere from his opposite gap to the left field foul pole. The Solon High School product finished off the day by showing arguably his most obvious tool - his arm strength - as he reached a top velocity of 96 mph on his throws to home plate.

6-foot-2, 200-pound athletic frame. Maniglia, a UNC recruit, continues to standout for his raw tools. On the mound, the right-hander showed a mid to upper 80s fastball (we saw him higher last summer) and impressive off speed to go along with his 6.7 speed, 94 mph arm from the outfield, and mid 90s exit velocity.
