Clayton Fields: OF/RHP, (2021) Normandy, OH. 6-foot, 165-pound athletic frame. In the box, Fields recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Began in a balanced stance with a high controlled load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was raw, and had a flat swing plane. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 75 mph. Smooth In the outfield, had athletic footwork, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball one hand, movements laterally were athletic. On the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action with some arm speed. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Threw his fastball 73-77 mph; shows arm side command and running action. Had arm side control and fading action on his changeup (68-70). Ran a 4.26 30 yard dash.
