Hit: Uses a double tap timing trigger that leads to a mostly balanced launch. Barrel has some lag through the zone. Most natural ball flight came to the middle of the field.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity. Gap abilities. Strength plays a bigger role than speed to swing.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Field: In the infield he plays with a relaxed tempo. Moves well laterally. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: 72 mph arm strength across the diamond. Loose arm, more strength to come.
Defensive Projection: 3B.
2/17/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: On the bump he rolls through delivery with good tempo. Ball comes out without much effort. Chest high leg lift into drop and drive loading sequence. ¾ righty.
Fastball: 74-75 mph. Mostly true with occasional arm side run.
Curveball: Spins two different breaking balls. Leads off with a big, 11/5 shaped breaking ball with gradual action at 61-62 mph. Slider comes in at 59-60 mph with a slurvish look to it.
Changeup: 62-65 mph. Quality fading action.
